[Bug 973968] Re: Sikuli crashes when I click on any command in its window

--- The FAQ should be modified suitably to clarify this point also.
The faq headline says:
X-1.0rc3 start up problems --- IDE does not run --- different symptoms

I think this is enough to have a look at it if you do not get it run.

--- Looking back, does this mean ...
You stated at the beginning:
If I click on any command, Sikuli crashes immediately (its window simply vanishes without any error being reported).

This is the symptom, when there are problems with the Java AWT
transparent window for the capture support. And this currently has to do
very often with the presence of Java 7.

So to get it clean, the steps were necessary.

The registry problem might be a follow up of the capture problems
before.

Feel free, to add Java 7 again to your system and find out what happens
with Sikuli.

Title:
Sikuli crashes when I click on any command in its window

Status in Sikuli:
  Opinion

Bug description:
If I click on any command, Sikuli crashes immediately (its window
simply vanishes without any error being reported).

For example, if I click on the find() or click() commands in the left
  pane, the Sikuli window vanishes.

Reporting for Windows 7 running on two different PCs.
I have both JRE6u25 and JRE7u2 installed on both my PCs.

Note that I am trying to run the Sikuli in its default state (without
making any changes in the setting).
