This is exactly what people observe when running the IDE with Java 7.

No need to debug that, it is a known problem: handling of transparent
overlay frames has changed from JRE6 to JRE7 and Sikuli has to be
adapted to this new situation (which is not the case currently).

But if you find the solution, it is very welcome ;-)
