[Bug 1053904] Re: Ubuntu 12.04: take screenshot is not working

No, its not working :-(

The first time I installed sikuli, i did it from the package itself
after that only I downloaded the bundle from the internet.

I think u r right the problem is because of the VMbox.

Today I m gonna install ubuntu natively and hopefully it's gonna work.

Actually I have ubuntu 11.10 64-bit running natively on one of my system and sikuli works really well on that.
So i hope its the VMbox that's causing the problem.

Title:
Ubuntu 12.04: take screenshot is not working

Status in Sikuli:
  New

Bug description:
  Hi,

I am working on Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS, 32-bit and the sikuli version is the latest (sikuli X 1.0rc3).
I have downloaded the source directly from sikuli.org.
  I have installed openCV 2.1 , libcv 2.1 , libhighgui 2.1 , tesseract 2.04 , libcvaux 2.1 and JRE 6.

As soon as i press 'take screenshot' icon on the sikuli-ide all the
open windows disappear and all i get is the desktop. So I am only able
to take screenshot of the icons on the desktop and not of any
  application.

Can anybody help me out here!!
