Re: [Question #257973]: Sikuli Running Remotely

Question #257973 on Sikuli changed:

    Status: Open => Answered

RaiMan proposed the following answer:
Uuups, how should that go at all? Independently from Sikuli?

On the system under test you always need some "driver" for the testcases, whatever this may be.
And you have to tell this driver what it should do.

One possibility is to use VNC, which needs a VNC-server on that machine.
If you use Jenkins, then you need a Jenkins client on that machine, that gets it's stuff to do from a Jenkins server, which in turn means transferring files.

So simply spoken: what ever you do, if no software can be installed
additionally and no files can be transferred to the system it is at
least impossible with SikuliX or any (script based) testing framework,
what you want to do.
