I do not know anything about the iPhone simulator, but knowing my
iPhone, I dare to say, that whenever you select or focus anything, where
text can be entered, the keyboard appears.

BTW: what is the "pushdown key"?

So it is not clear, what you want to do here or what you are missing.

If you mean, that you want to automatically close the keyboard, whenever
it comes up, the you should have a look at SikuliX's observe feature,
that can be used to watch out for something to appear in parallel to the
running script.
