RaiMan proposed the following answer:
1.1.0 has a limited support for triggering the run of a script on a "server" from a "client".
This feature is experimental:

... but as a general limitation for SikuliX: only one client request can
be served at one time, since screen, keyboard and mouse are a singleton
resource.
