Manfred Hampl proposed the following answer:
How would you do that manually?

Start a web browser
Open Google Maps
click in the google map search box
enter the search term and hit enter
wait a few seconds for the map to show up
locate the red indicator or just position the mouse in the center of the window
do a right click
select "What's here"
and in the answer box read the coordinates.

Just convert this into sikuli steps.

(Maybe using the google maps API would be a more straightforward
approach.)
