As far as I understood: The new/future apple hardware platform will be
supported beginning with macOS BigSur (macOS 11), which in turn will
also support the Intel platform for still some years.

SikuliX is Java based and internally uses OpenCV and Tesseract native
libraries.

So if these three parts are available for macOS 11 (either as one
version for both platforms or one for each platform),  SikuliX will work
with macOS 11.

Starting tomorrow I will try to find out the details, when BigSur is
available for installation.

So I think it is worth, to wait some days/weeks and watch the scene
around the new Apple platform.

I myself do not plan to have such a machine available the next months.
