  simple-scan does not load externally modified pages

Status in Simple Scan:

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: simple-scan

  Simple-scan allows opening pages in an external image editor, but does
  not update itself with those external changes.

  I would like to see simple-scan to notice that the file was externally
  modified (timestamp updated?) and load/display the updated file in its
  page "stream".
