[Question #276981]: No Scanners detected error on Xerox PE16 AIO USB connection

I have a Xerox PE16 Multifunction  USB device. It is Twain compliant. It prints fine on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS. Simple Scan returns the error "No scanners detected".
I ran sane find scanner and it didn't find it.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
