I know that the reported problems with kernel 2.6.30 are not related to
the sony-laptop module. It was a report about the functionality with the
new kernel.

In your system (with kernel 2.6.30) do you have problems with the
internal microphone? And what is the granularity of the brightness
control with the Intel card?
