Hi,

I have been unable to find good documentation on this either within the
launchpad group, or on the internet as a whole.  I have seen plenty of
tutorials which instruct you to extract the files from the manufacturer's
provided Windows executable, and then create an appropriate bootable disk.
However, at least based on the tools I have tried, our BIOS files from Sony
do not appear to be such archives.

Has anyone managed to find a solution to this issue?  It seems absurd to
install an entire operating system just to flash the BIOS!
