Re: sony-VGN-Zseries-janitor - Error when run as normal user (Karmic)

Hi Raphael,

thanks for the quick fix. It works, too. :)

As terminal I use Guake (guake-terminal.org) for most of my daily
needs, Guake is a convenient drop-down terminal for Gnome which can be
found in the universe repositiories.

Funny thing is that -- with sudo -- the janitor script runs inside the
Guake the active terminal session. WIthout sudo -- as regular user --
a new xterm session is spawned.

To see what happens when using gnome-terminal I just re-ran the script
there. Same thing: an xterm window pops up. Using sudo, the script
runs inside the gnome-terminal.

On Guake "echo $COLORTERM" returns nothing (or an empty string). On
gnome-terminal "echo $COLORTERM" returns "gnome-terminal".

Cheers
Mike
