Re: VGN-Z51WG_B
Thanks for your suggestions Raphael.
long story short i had only server with very few additional packages
that i use for work,
i tried the script on the server installation and all went well no
errors but speed mode nvidia just didnt work.
since its not normal to have server installed i thought, ok let me try
this with normal desktop installation,
again no errors but still no nvidia :(
i had a look at xorg log and saw driver nv is getting loaded instead of
nvidia, i'm not sure if they are the same.
no error at least as far as i can see, but on speed mode i cant even
drop down to another tty it gives me a blurred screen which is not black
but like negative with blurry screen.
i can remove the desktop and keep one grub that is no issue i have
nothing on it.
shall i remove the installation(sony laptop) and start again?
i saw the script and can turn on the debug and see if it helps
any other suggestions?
thanks for your help
