Hi,

I don't know how you want to use your FP sensor,
But I have set the finger print to authenticate my entrance at the boot time. (my compute and hard disk are password protected from bios)
So nobody can access my compuer except who I have allowed.

I think, this is the best way that you can use this sensor. If someone steals your computer, he can never access any of your data and use your computer.

Subject: [Sony-vaio-z-series] Figerprint reader as a mouse button

I don't care for the autentication functions associated to the
fingerprint reader, but it is a pity to waste such a sensor.

Is it possible to have this reader interpreted as a mouse button?
