please make sure to hit "reply to all" instead of "reply" next time.

Anyway, I use Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic.  In the worst case I would hope that
this problem is fixed in the new version of ubuntu which comes out
next month.  I have never sent my vaio in for service, if that makes
any difference.
