10.04 almost perfect on live image but doesn't install - VPCZ11D7E

I'm using the live image now. The resolution is perfect 1920x1024 the
wifi works, however when I install it doesn't boot in to the GUI at
all. I've have a good read through the threads and tried many of the
suggestions but nothing seems to work. Any suggestions? Thanks, Julian
