Re: Kernels and script for VPC ( and maybe VGN ) Z Series with Intel and NVidia both usable. Ubuntu 10.04 amd_64
You have to follow the instructions in the readme EXACTLY - if you don't you
will get a black screen. I.e. you need grub2 in the correct mode for the
panel and you need gfxpayload = keep. You also need to boot in text mode
using the text kernel parameter. Also, do not load the module yourself but
let my rc.local.moved script do it. If you fail to do any of this you will
certainly end up with a black screen!
