Re: Ubuntu 10.4 install on vaio z12 1600x900 display -Want to help [SOLVED - partly]

 

You need 'nomodeset text' options in grub and then install old kernel (for
rebooting and getting SPEED led on) and install NVIDIA drivers you can
download form www.nvidia.com
