Re: 10.04.1 installation/grub issues

 

Hi,

To circumvent the grub installation problem, you can use the alternate Kubuntu 
CD, proceed with the install, then skip the step to install grub and do it 
manually by following [1], then continue with the end of the install. It works 
with my laptop which is a VPCZ11Z9E.
