Message #01728
Re: Adam's kernel 2.6.36-vaioz, intel and nvidia card
Dear Alban, dear list members,
Many thanks for this email and this mailing list, I now have passed a
major blocking point for having a reasonably running Ubuntu on my Sony
Vaio VPCZ12M9E.
I succeeded in running a xorg on the Intel adapter by following your
"howto", though the nVidia still refuse to work properly.
So I've 2 questions now:
1. glx seems not running for the Intel adapter [1]
2. When booting in "Speed mode" the x server refuse to work.
Alban, could you please provide me with a copy of your Xorg.conf files
for both Intel and nVidia chip?
Kind regards,
Didier
