Re: Ubuntu on Sony Vaio Z12X9E/X

 

Dear Helmut,

Welcome to the list.

I suggest to install you ubuntu with the alternate CD, thus use a
ncurse/text like installation program.
If you have graphical issue on the terminal, have a look at the nomodeset
kernel options you can add to the grub command line.
I personnaly used it for my i915 Intel adapter.
