Have the same problem; crackling static noise that fades out after
resume. After that, sound works fine. Driver issue? I haven't tried the
latest kernel or latest Ubuntu Natty snapshot. I'm at Ubuntu's 2.6.37-9.
Waiting for official Natty release to do a wipe of my system and start
all over with a fresh install, hoping for an out of the box
experience ;-)
