Re: lspci | egrep VGA after installing kernel module
Hi,
I have just checked, using the Ubuntu Natty kernel 2.6.38-8-generic, I have
only one of the graphics cards present depending on the graphics switch.
Powerusage is around 10 / 11 W for intel and 24 / 25 for nvidia.
pm-suspend works for both situations.
pm-hibernate seems to save the current state to disk (diskled is on for a
few seconds), but turning the system back on just starts the system as if I
hadn't hibernated it. This again happens for both cards.
Finally the brightness controls only work in intel. In Nvidia the brightness
stays maximum it seems.
Hope this helps.
Regards
Rutger
