Re: lspci | egrep VGA after installing kernel module

 

Hi Jan,

Yes I did install Norbert's module (v0.9np7 patched with Adams v0.3
patch) and I have modified Adam's script to use Ubuntu's alternatives
system. It is quite clean now, see attached files.
I am also running Maverick with Natty's kernel.

The script needs the file:
/sys/devices/platform/sony-laptop/speed_stamina
which is provided by the sony-laptop module.

Do you have problems installing that module?
