It doesn't matter which drivers are installed. I use the BIOS patch to
enable static switching, which isn't an ideal solution though it does
work. I thought others were having some success with a kernel boot
param of something like acpi_os="" Check the list archive.
I get 4 hours in stamina mode, standard battery.
