Hi Nicklas,

thank you for your prompt reply! Unfortunately the git-package you provided does not work :-( After the installation I get the message "sh: post_install: Command not found". So I inspected the PKGBUILD file and found out that I have to:

1. depmod -a
2. modprobe sony-laptop

after the installation. So I did this manually, but the module does not load.
I noticed that you put the module under /lib/modules/..../updates. I did this too, when I compiled and installed the module manually (see my first post).

Any ideas?

Well, I made it today anyway...

You can find the module build stuff here: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=52773

I suggest that you install "yaourt": https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Yaourt

And then it's simply:
yaourt -S sony-laptop-zseries-git

I can also greatly recommend you that you install the linux-sony
    kernel from AUR: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=51456
If you haven't done that already :) I'm using it, just with kernel
    3.1 RC7
