no luck either ...

I found

where the second indicates that it is a duplicate of the first.
Which I think is not the case ...

so is anyone with a z12 running on ubuntu 11.10 already ?

run

grep rate /proc/acpi/battery/BAT1/state

I also tried stopping all processes including X, the usage goes
down a little ... but stays around 30W
