Hi,
some more information how to get Intel and ATI working together.
[HOWTO] Using recent muxless Intel/ATI hybrid graphics

PS: am I the only one, who is interested to get the PMD working?

I think there are more notebooks with that problem:
The radeon has no connectors specified in the vbios so it's muxless.
Not much we can do with it until X gets re-architected to decouple
display and rendering.

Is that the same Problem, that we have?
It might be but we don't get that far. In their case it could be a
problem where the Radeon card is not enabled via ACPI so there are no
connectors that show, with our laptop the card is enabled as soon as
the PMD is plugged in but the drm/radeon driver cannot read the vbios.
I suspect that the problem with our laptops could be coming from the
PCI code since the Radeon card is shown at PCI bus 16:00 but the
proprietary ATI drivers only find a card at 22:00 which is never
listed in lspci so there could be an issue where the card is not
assigned the correct pci bus for some reason and thus the driver
cannot read the vbios contents. I created the other bug but I've
gotten the standard muxless response and no traction so please post a
response here so that maybe we would get some more attention
