Hello everyone,
I took the plunge and upgraded my Ubuntu install to 12.04 and everything 
is working wonderfully! Perhaps better? I'm getting great power usage, 
hanging around 10.4W!
Unlike before, the system boots fines after the upgrade so you aren't 
left in busybox. I checked the bug report on this before I upgraded and 
could see it had been resolved.
I hope this might persuade others to upgrade who were reluctant.
