Hi,

I had already upgraded to Ubuntu 12.04 Beta 1 earlier and with today's 
update (Beta 2 and the fix for dmraid booting) I can confirm Craig's 
findings. Almost everything seems to work fine (see below). 12.04 boots 
incredibly fast on my Z13. Power consumption low is 9.35 W on Stamina 
(hacked BIOS set to static GPU switching) with backlight down and 
wireless off. With backlight at 80% and wireless on I get 11.8 W.

There's a problem with the internal speakers not working. Plugged in 
headphones do work, though. And finally the internal microphone does 
work! I created a bug report about the laptop speakers here:

Shannon has commented (#3) with a workaround that makes speakers work, 
but they're not silenced when headphones are plugged in.

Any contributions to this bug report are welcome!
