Fwd: Bumblebee z11 success

I am really happy with this... I can even have all three monitors going at the same time, a D-SUB/VGA connected one, HDMI, as well as the laptop's own screen. It was originally claimed by Win 7 users that such a setup was impossible. And using bumblebee I can finally control the screen's brightness when running programs on the nvidia chip.

Now, if someone could only figure out how to change the HDMI output to something higher than 640x480... i played around a bit with /etc/bumblebee/xorg.conf.nvidia (changed the EDID setting to true), but that didn't seem to make any difference. Running nvidia-settings didn't help either (DISPLAY=:8 optirun nvidia-settings runs it over hdmi, optirun nvidia-settings -c :8 locally. Either way it couldn't detect the connected monitor to change res/settings... Does anyone have any ideas?
