Re: Suspend does not work

No - is it needed for suspend to RAM?

Suspend to RAM is working on the command line using

echo mem > /sys/power/state

just not any other way.

I have a Vaio VGN-Z890, running Ubuntu 12.10. Suspend does not
work - doing a suspend from the desktop results in the password

    pm-suspend does nothing,

    echo mem > /sys/power/state

    does work!

What do I need to do to get suspend to work from the desktop?
