One thing you might want to consider instead is the D-Link DWL-800AP+
wireless range extender  -- this can be configured to be an access point,
too...it will act like a wireless/wired bridge.  available cheap ($36)

If you really want to go the PCI route, I would head over to
www.netgate.com and pick up the external antenna PCMCIA card along with a
PCI adapter.
