Thanks Alberto.  Yep I've contacted Bill, but I think the documentation changes on that side will take time.  Would you consider merging as-is for now, and then at least this process is written down somewhere as reference.  Then we can tidy/move/split it later?

We really need something like this written down somewhere close to canonical-rbac, because currently it's very difficult to figure out how to use it.
