[Bug 800621] Re: Encrypt file names
Syncany does not store the original files on the server, but rather
encrypted chunks of these files. On the server, you'll see files like
that:
chunk-abc
chunk-xyz
...
So there are no filenames exposed to the remote storage.

Bug description:
If the government raid my server and see an encrypted file called
"plan to overthrow the government.txt", the name alone is probably
enough to make bad things happen to me...
(It's not much of an issue for me personally, but if your target
audience is people who are crazy about privacy, encrypting file names
would probably be a good selling point)
