After about an hour of debugging, I have managed to successfully rid
myself of the Error 404 message, and am now working on getting the rest
of the functionality going

Moment I have it working, I will post patchfiles to the developers

Connection found.
Kernel.org server couldn't fulfill request.
Error code: 404

The same behavior in 1.2.5 and also in trunk.
