2.6.31-14-generic (note the "-14-generic") is the Ubuntu build of the
2.6.31 kernel, not the official build. 2.6.31.5 is the current official
stable version of the 2.6.31 kernel listed on the kernel.org servers,
and is more up to date than the Ubuntu build.

distcc support was being looked at for a future version of KernelCheck.

Output of my kernelcheck after i click  "Get kernel information" :

Testing your network connection...
Connection found.
Kernel.org server couldn't fulfill request.
Error code: 404

The same behavior in 1.2.5 and also in trunk.
