i installed the kernelcheck-1.2.5-3_all.deb from sourceforge and it
doesnt work but the J Queiroz's package although same version works ,i
you had increased the version number of the deb file you posted it would
have been helpful

Output of my kernelcheck after i click  "Get kernel information" :

Testing your network connection...
Connection found.
Kernel.org server couldn't fulfill request.
Error code: 404

The same behavior in 1.2.5 and also in trunk.
