Public bug reported:

When i launch xbmc -fs it don't go and it is launched whit a resolution
of 720x576, pal, 4:3, 85 Hz (is the information in the system
information menu)

I can change manually the resolution from the options, and the system
knows mi real resolution (1024x768, fullscreen, because i can find that
manually and in the menu say "fullscreen", but it only works when i'm
playing any video if i configure in the video menu, etc)

This problem is old, and I'm using the official repositories of
launchpad and kde 3.5.9

When i launch from the console, i get this information:

I tried whit xbmc --fullscreen, xbmc --fs, xbmc -fs, xbmc --full-screen, without other results but in the xbmc --help page say, also whit --standalone, --legacy-res and a combination of they
	
the parameters of the full screen, are being recognized?

A few times, I have problems whit the graphics. (The window turns white)

S.O. ubuntu 8.04
Video card: GeForce FX 5200/AGP/SSE2
Distributor OpenGl: NVIDIA Corporation
OpenGl version: 2.1
