I agree we shouldn't obscure the semantic difference. I have a
suspicion that the words "referenced" and "actual" won't mean much to
most test authors, even though they are technically accurate.
Let's land this, but be ready to change the labels if users report
confusion. After all, the whole point of this is to make programming
easier.
