Re: Hackfest Conclusion
Great stuff!
On my end, I was at the GSoC Mentor Summit this week-end because of my
former day job on PacketFence but I attended a session where I spoke with
some Xamarin guy who also was at monkeyspace. I told them I see no problem
with competition if they want to show case their product by building an
android client for Tomboy. Competition is good for consumers anyway.
Really glad to hear about the motivation for the server side. I think this
is really the thing that needs most attention right now. There even could
be an opportunity for a one-man-shop around this (like pinboard or
instapaper) but with evernote and al competition might be hard.. I wish I
wasn't as lazy, busy and enjoying security industry so much otherwise I
might have tried to do just that.
I'm glad you had a great time and I'm sure you represented Tomdroid well.
