Re: Finally (we all say in ,unison) a new ISO

Hello All,

I did a couple of installs of the latest zsync ISO also.

Aside from what has been noted thus far;

* I used the OBI standard install, no options ( Native and VM )

* During the OBI install, it kept telling me I had a non-PAE / non-64bit
CPU which is wrong.

* zTweaks was not available / installed, or at least, it did not launch
when I selected it.

* Installed, just for kicks, the restricted-extras after an initial
update && upgrade, that all went smoothly.

* I didn't explore / look for many packages, as I mainly work on the
command line, but, the CoreUtils I tested all seem fine, mv, cp, ls,
awk, sed, grep, ping, etc. Nice colors in the Xterm also.

* There's no scroll back / widget on the Xterm window, which for most,
probably isn't an issue, but it was annoying for me. Maybe there's a
tweak or something I missed.

* It would be nice to have an Xterm launcher under apps or something. I
opened Xterm with Ctrl+Alt+T.

* Shutdown worked for me, but the first re-boot after install stuck me
back in the root account. Not sure how that happened, but a subsequent
restart brought up the User Login Panel.

* None of the links under Apps >> {Include,ToriOS Social Media} worked
for me. Actually, there were no links under Include to test.

* I had a hard time with the Browser, need to read the docs on that one
I think.

* The file browser works well. No issues to speak of there.

I'm not sure how to bring up the Menu box that allows tweaks and such,
but I'd like to play with the Desktop features a bit.

Overall, I think you all have done a fantastic job!

best regards,

Greg.
