Today I tested guidus in ToriOS 1.0. After testing in Ubuntu and Debian, 
this was important. And what I tested works :-)

1. In the live session

2. In the installed system

I installed guidus according to the instructions for Debian at

https://help.ubuntu.com/community/mkusb/install-to-debian

I had to remove the old version of mkusb and re-install it, because part 
of it is moved to a common package (to be shared with dus (and guidus)).

sudo apt-get remove mkusb
sudo apt-get install mkusb guidus

I can also use guidus to create live and persistent live USB drives with 
ToriOS 1.0.

But I re-discovered a bug, which is independent of guidus. It has been 
around for a long time also with mkusb (without fixing).

The persistent live system has a different directory structure for 
booting compared to the live system, and the tarball is not where the 
OBI-installer expects it to be. It can be found and selected, and used. 
I did that in order to create the installed ToriOS system, where I 
tested that guidus works.

I will describe it in a separate mail.
