Just fyi...I run 2 separate test installs and that problem showed up on both, so it was a 'hard' fault... a little worrying for sure.

Yeah me neither.
All indications showed that it worked...
If our scripts were overwriting the jwmrc it would be with the default file in /etc/skel/
So... I am not sure why it did not work... the last xslt file worked fine...
