Re: design palette
I have some photos for the wallpaper for sure.
Is anyone working on an openbox theme specifically for this OS?
I suppose we need to solidify the decision about what colors the whole
community wants to use.
I suggest people look at the web site I posted and decide what fits
their idea of Tori OS best, and we can work on stuff like making the
folder Icons the right shade of whatever, and all that (it is really
easy to modify existing svg files in geany btw. You can modify MANY
simultaneously from one color to another with very little effort... I
suppose you could do it with
sed
if you were so inclined to be cool like that.
Should we have another poll?

It will make sense when you see the website. Of course the only place
it's not reflected is the splash page I put up : )
BTW - my email client went nuts and I couldn't directly reply to the
message you brought this up in.
While I have a lot of design work going on, especially with the
website, I consider anyone who thinks they having something to
contribute to be an official designer. Although for the website I must
insist on turning down anything that I feel does not fit, but that
would also have to go by Ali first. One thing we need: wallpapers.
I am leaving for the evening before I go crazy. Got to get away from
this computer!

It would be a good idea to come up with an 'official' design palette
so everyone who makes art can make it with all the correct colours.
Is there already an official designer? (Ali?)
With a global palette everyone who is designing elements (GTK themes,
openbox themes, logos, flyers, etc...) will be able to use the same
colours, and not have things look terribly off side by side.
