Hi Israel,

I made the tarball such that it already has a portable (at least wired)
network using network manager. Maybe that is the problem for you. Maybe
you want to install it yourself? Can you remove 'my tweaks' and maybe
also the network-manager, and after that install what you want.

The tweaks are according to these links (both of them)

https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Lubuntu/Documentation/MinimalInstall#Edit_.2BAC8-etc.2BAC8-network.2BAC8-interfaces

https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Lubuntu/Documentation/MinimalInstall#Change_Network_Manager_settings

-o-

I tweaked grub to make the installed system boot properly

"quiet splash" --> "text"

from
81d3580078eb9c26382c06683e13f86d  precise-mini.tar.xz
to
2b4a2f4c9aca1acad21ff8f0a637dcba  precise-mini-txt.tar.xz

It is also uploaded at

Best regards
Nio
