Re: Links not highlighted bug at torios.net

Hi,

Also the drop down menus arent always displaying properly in Internet Explorer.

I'd advise ditching the Striker theme for a more popular and tested one like TwentyFourteen.

As I just replied your private email .. I'd suggest to focus on testing and worry about the website later. The website is not yet done anyway. I have put so much efforts into it and I like the current theme. I don't like the one you suggested - we used it on the old news site.

1st, we need to fill the gaps on the site. Once that's done, we can start tweaking ;)

Thanks!

Hi George,
Yes it is a bug in the WP theme. I think Ali is in charge of the
website these days.
I did change the text color to indicate there is a link...
I have CC'd Ali, he will be able to take care of this issue!

As Paul noticed the links in

are not highlighted a different colour.
He seems to have coloured the link where it says
[The first candidate for the final Beta is here:]
by inserting a SPAN in the HTML,
Ive added the URL to make things clearer,
but it is not highlighted.

Is this a bug in the theme being used?
(in which case the easiest solution might be to change theme
(I use TwentyFourteen for all my wordpress sites like
http://www.hlug.org.uk/torios/
))
