Also the drop down menus arent always displaying properly in Internet 
Explorer.

I'd advise ditching the Striker theme for a more popular and tested one like 
TwentyFourteen.

Yes it is a bug in the WP theme.  I think Ali is in charge of the
website these days.
I did change the text color to indicate there is a link...
I have CC'd Ali, he will be able to take care of this issue!
