Re: ToriOS testers!!
Hi Israel,
More info on my observations of that naughty nm-applet with the red cross...
1) If I hover over it, it says, "Networking disabled".
2) If I left-click it, it shows greyed out, "NetworkManager is not running...".
3) If I right-click it, it shows a list of 3 greyed-out items, "Enable Networking", "Connection Information", "Edit Connections..."

Hi Israel,
Zsync'd iso and re-installed and re-apt-get upgraded and rebooted.
1)
The nm-applet icon still shows a red cross upon booting after install, and if I hover over it, it says
'Networking disabled' when in fact there is a connected and working
wired connection via VB. I did > ping -c 3 google.com and other
Internet tests to check it was connected okay. Also see picture.
2) Clicking on the Shutdown icon in the Shutdown Computer popup has no effect.
3) Clicking on the 'Yes' to the 'Restart' yes/no question has no effect.
